Benalmádena

Situated roughly between Fuengirola and Málaga, Benalmádena is a coastal town on the central-eastern part of the Costa del Sol. With its sandy beaches, hotels, restaurants, nightlife and large marina, it is one of the main tourist destinations on this coast, drawing both national and international visitors to its shores.

Many also own properties or live year-round in the attractive residential areas surrounding the seaside town. Rustic and modern villas, apartments, penthouses and townhouses enjoy fantastic sea views from suburbs such as La Capellania, La Morera, Rancho Domingo and also Torremuele, which is located closer to the sea.

Torrequebrada forms the beachside heart of the town, home to a long beach and promenade, many restaurants and bars, resort hotels as well as the famous Torrequebrada Casino, which in addition to a games room also offers cabaret shows and dance spectaculars. The marina is another hub of dining, entertainment and water sports.

It’s a popular spot for families, with a cable car leading from the popular Tivoli theme park to the bird sanctuary at the peak of the nearby mountains. The marina area is also home to a sea life centre, while the large park at the heart of Benalmádena features a butterfly centre.
